While the regular speed of the video is fine as it is, it's easier to identify the squashy and stretchy moments in the letters when set at the 0.5 speed. The letters visibly stretch and squash to produce a sort of... elastic effect that makes them feel alive. This technique is used often in facial expressions in animation, as well, since in reality, we do move our faces in such ways to speak and portray emotion.
